Help your toddler get cozy when they come out of the water this summer!
In this beginner-friendly sewing tutorial, I’ll show you step-by-step how to transform an ordinary beach towel into a cozy poncho towel or hooded towel.
Ready to dive into a fun and easy summer sewing project? ✨ Whether you’re heading to the pool, beach, or just hanging out in the backyard, these DIY poncho towels are a must-have for summer adventures. Grab your sewing machine and let’s get started!

MATERIALS
For a toddler size poncho towel, all you need is one beach towel, fabric scissors, a ruler and marking tool (pen, chalk, etc), pins or clips and a sewing machine.
For larger kids, use a hand towel for the hood so you get the full length of the beach towel. Use the same process but don’t cut off the bottom for the hood!

The hooded towels are for my great grandchildren.
Gotta wash them first
I’m sure they will love them – happy sewing!
