No more lost dice on game night!

Dice Tray Sewing Pattern with Drawstring Bag

Perfect for all kinds of dice games

Hand rolling red polyhedral dice into a navy star-print fabric dice tray on a wooden table, with a matching drawstring bag and a purple dragon figurine nearby.

I am in love with these snap together dice trays! I’ve made square trays in 3 sizes that I use for storage, on my night stand, travel and more.

I started noticing that people were using them for dice and got inspired. What if I made another tray that snaps together, can be stored flat but also has a drawstring bag for storage or on the go fun?

The Dice Tray and Drawstring Bag Sewing Pattern was born! This pattern is Fat Quarter Friendly – make the tray & bag from (2) fat quarters, fleece and drawstrings. Choose fabrics to match your favorite game, theme, or aesthetic, from fantasy-inspired prints to modern minimal designs.

This dice tray saved our bacon on day 1!

My brother’s family loves to play games so I pushed to get a set ready to take to their house on Easter Sunday. My husband and niece discovered they both loved backgammon so they broke out the board and I snapped the dice tray together for them to try.

They were thrilled because their board apparently didn’t have a large enough lip to keep the dice on the board so the tray helped the dice not bounce onto the deck or worse.
