Wedding Kids Table Activity: Coloring Cards with Cricut or Silhouette
This post contains Amazon and DesignBundles affiliate links for your convenience (which means if you make a purchase after clicking a link I will earn a small commission but it won’t cost you a penny more)!
If you are looking for ideas to keep the little ones occupied at your Wedding or a Bridal Shower, why not make your own Wedding Crayon Cards with your Cricut or Silhouette machine? They are also sized to work with Cricut Joy too!
The cards include built in holders for 2 crayons. You also get 2 explanation / sign tents to put in front of a basket or on a table with the crayon cards. One is for a wedding and the other says bridal shower.
You can use the pens for your machine and do everything on it – draw, score and cut – or you can print the designs on a home printer and then score and cut on your machine. They give a different look but both work well. (fig. 1)
FLEXIBLE FILES SO YOU CAN MAKE THEM EXACTLY THE WAY YOU WANT TO FOR YOUR EVENT!
I design all of my files for Cricut or Silhouette to be as flexible as possible so you can create the look and functionality that makes the most sense to you.
For a wedding or bridal shower, most people want to add personalization like the bride or bride and groom’s names and the date.
The coloring card with the rings has a blank banner ready for names to be added in your cutting machine software before printing. (fig. 2)
You can add names, date or anything else on either side of the crayon holders too! (fig. 3)
I recommend packaging the coloring cards and putting them on a table or in a basket so they are easy for people to take with them or help their kids get settled at a wedding kids table. A table tent sign for both wedding and bridal shower is included in the Wedding Crayon Card bundle. (fig. 4)
The files include a line to score the cards down the middle if you want to fold them and put them in cellophane bags so the art is showing on the front and the crayons are on the back. (fig. 5)
You can also delete that layer and have the cards flat so both the art and crayons show in the cellophane bags. (fig. 6)
