I have a confession: I had my Cricut Maker for over 2 years before I used it to cut fabric – and I sew A LOT!

Most of my sewing involves straight cuts that are easy to do with a rotary cutter and quilting ruler but until now I haven’t done any sewing with Cricut.

Occasionally I use or create a pattern with curves that requires it to be printed, pinned on fabric and cut my hand. Cutting curves is just below clipping curves in my list of favorite things to do when sewing but it’s sometimes what I need to do to make what I want to make. Sleep masks are a great example.

Now that I can cut the fabric and the fusible fleece with my Cricut Maker and I can make sleep masks faster and I’m happier while doing it – two great things! You can now have that joy as well.
