The bags are made with my “Claus Family” bundle which includes 9 family labels (mommy, daddy, mummy, etc) as well as the word “Claus” on it’s own if you want to make them with people’s names. (Buy the font)

The SVG, DXF & EPS files have layers to make them flexible. You can use or skip the shoes, flip the hat if it works better with a name in the opposite direction and more.

Of course these designs would be great for so many other things! Make family Christmas shirts, aprons, decorate stockings, mugs and more.

determine where you want the HTV vinyl to go

Position all the vinyl pieces then remove the red vinyl and set aside.

use the heat press to adhere one color of vinyl

Use a heat press to adhere the green vinyl.

cover with teflon sheet and heat the second color htv

Place the red vinyl on the bag and cover with a teflon sheet before using the heat press so you don’t melt the green htv that you just applied.

My Santa’s Magic Key 3D paper cut template for crafting or layered vinyl to use with Cricut or Silhouette cutting machines. Shown at approx. 12″ square but can be cut smaller as well.

3D Santa's Magic Key Layered Paper Cut Design supplies

SUPPLY LIST

  • Santa’s Magic Key Layered Design (links to buy are below the video) 
  • 12” x 12” cardstock
    • green & white
  • 8 ½” x 11” red cardstock
  • 8 ½” x 4 ½” glitter or other cardstock for behind key
  • 2 ½“ x 3” white cardstock for Santa’s face in the key
  • craft adhesive
  • foam adhesive
  • 8” piece of ribbon

This 3D Santa’s Magic Key display is made with 6 pieces of paper that you cut with your Cricut, Silhouette or other cutting machine or if you are a whiz with scissors – you can cut it out by hand.

I tested the key down to 3″ and it works (I used my Silhouette Cameo 3). It would be tricky to do smaller.

Watch the quick 1 min video to see the process in high speed – it’s set to music so you don’t have to turn the sound on if you don’t want to!
