Looking for a fun and practical sewing project?

Since I started wearing prescription glasses I now juggle 3 pairs of glasses! My “all the time” glasses, reading / computer glasses and prescription sunglasses.

Because I have expensive glasses I want the best padding I can get without using a hard case which is bulkier and heavier to carry around. To get the protection without the weight I use Flex-Foam padding instead of fleece. You can substitute fleece if you are using inexpensive glasses that can be easily replaced.

In this tutorial, we’ll walk you through the steps to make a simple sunglass case, including how to use flex-foam for added durability and protection.

In this video, I’ll show you how to make stylish sunglass cases using flex-foam and fabric!
