If you want to learn how to sew a tissue pouch that has a clip or a d-ring, you’ve come to the right place.

I had someone ask how to add a tab with a clasp to the basic travel tissue holder tutorial I did previously so they could clip it onto a water bottle holder or their purse – great idea! I got to work and created this new video that shows you how to add a tab to the tissue pouch and still have room for the boxed corners.

This sewing project is quick, practical, and makes a great gift or item to sew and sell at craft fairs. Using your fabric scraps and some hardware (½” d-rings or lobster clasps) you can whip these up for stocking stuffers, teacher appreciation gifts, co-worker gifts and more.

Be sure to take one on your next vacation so you aren’t caught without tissues for runny noses, spills or other little clean up jobs that might pop up.

Let me know in the comments who you will make them for, how many you plan to make, etc. I love to know what people do with ideas I share on my blog or YouTube.
