Looking for a quick and fun Christmas decoration that makes a big impact on your table or in your home?

The Santa’s Belt Table Runner is quick and easy to make and the pattern is FREE!

You begin by creating 3 simple horizontal bands. Then sew the pieces together, add a back, quilt and bind it and you’re all set!

I decided to create mine with quilting cotton instead of using more texture and adding fur or metallics because I plan on using it on the table on Christmas Eve and don’t want my plates and platters tipping over.  If you want to use yours as more of a decoration, like I’ve shown to the left on a sofa table, getting more creative with your fabrics and textures can be a lot of fun!

The basic directions are below. If you’d prefer a printable pdf to have by your side, that includes cutting layouts on the fabric, just enter your name and email address to get your copy.

In addition to the Santa’s Belt Table Runner you’ll become a “Quilting and Sewing Insider” and regularly get free patterns, trend reports, how-tos and news about my new fabric lines manufactured and sold by Riley Blake Designs.  There will even be exclusive giveaways just for insiders who not only sign up but OPEN the emails!
