Placemats for Christmas

Christmas Placemat Panel by Tara Reed for Riley Blake Designs

If you are want to add something new to your table this holiday season, it’s time to sew up some placemats for Christmas! The December Placemat Panel Is part of a 12 month series of placemat panels I’ve created for Riley Blake Designs and is great for beginners and seasoned sewists alike.

The panel includes 11″ x 18″ designs to make 6 placemats. There are 3 with artwork and 3 with art and quotes: Merry Christmas, Family Gathers Here for Christmas and Home for the Holidays.

Watercolor winter scenes, a horse drawn carriage and Christmas barns will make these perfect for your holiday table.

A holly, berry and greenery print in 3 color ways is also included in the December release of this collection.

Just because they are designed as placemats doesn’t mean that’s all you can do with them. That’s the beauty of sewing, so many options. Use the designs for quilts, pillows, wall hangings and more.

Use the coordinating prints for all kinds of holiday projects. Make fabric napkins to go with your placemats, gift bags or table runners.  What would you make? Would love to know in the comments!
