Placemat panels & sashing
This lap quilt is made with 3 placemat panel images, economy quilt blocks – also called square in square quilt blocks – and sashing. Even the newest quilter will be able to get this project done in an afternoon.
The 10 page PDF gives you the material list and step-by-step directions with photos – everything you need to succeed. Watch the video tutorial as well if you like to watch and learn.
Economy Quilt Blocks
These Economy Blocks have oversized triangles that you will trim to size after completing each color instead of cutting perfect sizes and hoping for perfect construction. This method make this quilt great for beginners because you will get beautiful results even if everything doesn’t go perfectly at each step!
