For me, Christmas has always been a time of gathering, celebrations and silliness.  Coming from a family that scattered to the corners of the United States, Christmas is often the event that brings us all physically together, which makes it that much more special.

The gnomes are like family: we all have the uncle who can’t untangle the lights or the cousin who wants to figure out what is in the wrapped packages, unwilling to wait until Christmas morning. The mom or aunt who needs her coffee to keep up with the holiday happenings and the person who just wants to eat the cookies and drink Santa’s milk.
