I’m in love with these Cow Dolls!

While my inspiration to create the Barn Quilts collection came from an old barn turned bookstore, I am thrilled to see the fabrics are being embraced by those who live on farms and in farming communities.
Jennifer Long of BeeSewInspired.com, lives in rural, prairie Canada – surrounded by farm and agricultural land. Her family and many of her friends make their living in this industry.
I absolutely LOVE what she did with my Barn Quilts fabric. Jennifer made THE CUTEST Cow dolls (and you can too because she sells the patterns on her website.)
She used the patchwork prints to fussy cut and make actual “patches” for the dolls knees and a working pocket for his wheat!
If you have never made a Modern Rag Doll before, she is happy to teach you how. All you need is a sewing machine and beginner level sewing skills.
You can learn more about how she made these cute cows and decorated their barn on her blog post “Harvest on the Farm”.

Thank you Jennifer – I just love seeing how creative everyone is with fabric!
