Turn a Simple Tea Towel into a Stylish and Functional Bread Wrap
A bread holding towel is a towel that is folded and sewn together to help people hold and cut loaves of bread without touching the bread – keeping the germs away and the bread fresh! The rustic homemade look is perfect for buffets, picnics, and even as a charming gift.
Use fabric for themed bread holding towels for occasions like Christmas, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and more.
MATERIALS
• Flour Sack Towel or Tea Towel (the towel in the video tutorial below was 15″ x 26″ but the size doesn’t have to be exact)
• Iron and Ironing Board
• Sewing Machine & thread
Optional: Use fabric instead of a towel. Use one piece of fabric and hem all 4 sides then fold and sew in the same way as done with the towel.
